Money Market Fund Reform

On February 23, 2010, the Securities and Exchange Commission adopted new rules and rule amendments to enhance the regulation of money market funds. These new rules are designed to make money market funds more resilient to certain short-term market risks, and provide greater protections for investors.

Beginning October 7, 2010, money market funds must report key information each month on their website with respect to each portfolio security held on the last day of the prior month. After December 7, this information must be filed with the SEC in XML format each month in the new Form N-MFP.
